Like I said, it worked fine for months but this 100% fixed my problem and if I add enbhelper.dll back to the enbseries folder the problem starts again. I deleted enbhelper.dll from the enbseries folder.
This is something that had been working fine for me for months and I swear I didn't change anything overnight but it was definitely a problem and after several hours of checking everything I could think of including reinstalling Skyrim completely I finally found the culprit. etc.) this would have NO effect on the look of the game.
So, my issue was that while in game I could open the enb GUI and uncheck the various and this would change the game like normal BUT if I tried changing the values in any other section of the enb GUI or enbseries.ini (like, for example, increasing bloom or ambient lighting or fire intensity, etc. I've been having a similar issue the past few days and couldn't find a solution anywhere but I finally solved it so I want to share wherever I can.
